Several leading timing companies across North America relied on the RACE RESULT Ubidium system during the 2026 spring racing season, using the technology at some of the continent’s largest road races. These included the Vancouver Sun Run with more than 57,000 participants, as well as the Flying Pig Marathon and Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K.

Sportstats Delivers Strong Results Across Canada

In Canada, Sportstats deployed Ubidium at the Vancouver Sun Run, TC10K, and BMO Vancouver Marathon — three major events held across consecutive weekends this spring. Together, the races welcomed well over 100,000 runners. Using extra-wide Ubidium Ground Antennas at some of the widest and densest start lines in North America, Sportstats achieved exceptional detection performance throughout the season.

“Over the course of these three major events, Ubidium consistently outperformed every other system we had on site,” said Lindsay Burns, Director of Communications at Sportstats West. “The reliability, especially in very high-density environments, was outstanding.”

Fast Setup and Smooth Operations in Richmond

At the Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K in Richmond, Virginia, the event was timed by GO Race Productions and PrimeTime Timing. “Ubidium exceeded even our high expectations,” said Crisp McDonald of GO Race Productions. “Setup was faster, performance was rock-solid, and the data flow was incredibly smooth from start to finish.”

Flying Pig Marathon Successfully Debuts with RACE RESULT

Meanwhile, the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati successfully debuted with RACE RESULT technology in 2026, timing more than 45,000 participants across race weekend. “Transitioning a major event to a new timing platform always comes with pressure,” said Scott Langford of Trinity Timing. “But the system performed exactly as we needed it to, and the support from the RACE RESULT team throughout the process was outstanding.”

The 2026 spring season further highlighted the growing adoption of Ubidium among professional timers worldwide. With more than 1,000 Ubidium Ground Antennas already shipped, RACE RESULT continues to see increasing demand from timing companies looking for reliable read performance, simplified logistics, and scalable timing solutions for large-scale events.
