When purchasing a laptop for use with RACE RESULT 12 we recommend these specs.
- Operating System: You must use a Windows-based operating system. We recommend using Windows 11
- CPU: Intel 10th gen i3 or better. AMD Ryzen 5 or better
- RAM: 8GB or higher
- Disk Storage: 5GB of free disk space. An SSD is a recommend upgrade if available
- Network Adapter: An ethernet adapter is not required but is needed if you intend to directly connect to your decoder. New laptops tend to not come with one. In this case, you will need a USB to Ethernet adapter.
We do not recommend getting a small netbook. These tend to be underpowered and do not last long. Below are a few recommendations we found around $600.
