Timers and organizers can publish news articles on the event’s Home Tab to share real-time updates with followers of the event. Articles are shown on the public homepage in reverse chronological order, based on their publish date. News articles will also appear in the personalized feeds of participants, users who marked an event as a favorite, and users who are likely interested in the event

Click Create News Article to start a new one. Each article consists of:

Publish: Tick this to make the article visible on my.raceresult.com. Articles that are not published are saved as drafts and are not shown publicly.

Publish From: Without a date, a published article appears right after saving; with a date set in the future, it appears automatically at the selected time.

Cover Image: The image is cropped to the center to a 16:7 aspect ratio on the article page and to a 16:9 thumbnail in the news overview (4:3 on mobile). If no image is selected, the event logo is used instead.

Headline: The article’s title, shown in the news overview and at the top of the article.

Summary: A short teaser text, shown alongside the headline in the news overview.

Text: The full body of the article. Can be formatted in the text editor or using HTML.
