How long does the delivery take?
We generally offer multiple delivery options for all orders in the shop, allowing you to choose freely.
The available delivery options may vary depending on the product and are influenced by the following factors:
- The desired products
- The desired order quantity
- The delivery address
- The timing of the final print approval (applies only to orders with individual print products)
If the standard shipping options are not sufficient, we can check whether a super express option is possible. Please note that this option is significantly more expensive than the standard options in the online shop.
To check feasibility, please leave a corresponding note directly when placing your order. Please understand that especially during peak seasons, faster delivery may not always be possible, or our shipping providers may not offer a faster option.
Therefore, it is always advisable to order in advance to avoid express fees.

I want to know in advance how long the delivery will take and how much it will cost
You can view the shipping costs, production, and delivery times in our online shop before placing your order. Please proceed as follows:
- Add the desired products to your shopping cart.
- Click the "Calculate Shipping Costs" button in the shopping cart.
- Enter your delivery address and click "Continue."
- You will then see the current delivery dates and costs.
We would like to point out that any potential layout correction cycles for individual print products are not considered in this context.
Please note that for print approvals submitted after 12 PM, the order date will be pushed back by one business day.
Is it possible to change the delivery date after the order has been approved?
No this is not possible.
Delivery Cost
How much does delivery cost?
The delivery costs depend on the size and weight of your order, the delivery country and the specified delivery time and address. At the end of your order you can choose from the different delivery options available.
How are express costs calculated?
Please note that express shipping is not available for every delivery address. If express shipping is possible, the following combinations are available:
- Standard production + express shipping
- Express production + standard shipping
- Express production + express shipping
- Express production (Pickup)
The express shipping costs are based on the shipping fees of the respective shipping providers. While the shipping costs are determined directly by the service providers, the express production costs depend on the order volume or order value, as your order will be prioritized over others in this case.
Surcharges for shipping of bib numbers with transponder
There are 4 and 3 different chip positions on our standard layout for single and duo chip race numbers respectively. This is done to ensure the optimal stacking height, so more race numbers can be shipped in the same package.
If your custom design does not leave enough room for all chip positions, the stacking height is increased and thus not as many chip race numbers can fit in the same package and the shipping cost increases accordingly. Delivery Options
Multiple Delivery Addresses
It is unfortunately not possible for us to deliver products from a single order to different shipping addresses, therefore, we kindly request that you place a separate order for each desired shipping address.
Please be aware that for each order, the respective shipping and handling costs will be applied. Additionally, for orders involving print products, there will be a setup fee per order.
Shipping Orders together
We would like to inform you that individual orders are not automatically combined into one shipment. This is not possible for system-related and organizational reasons.
Upon request, we can send separate orders together as one shipment, provided the following criteria are met:
- All orders are completed within one business day. Storing individual orders for several days is not possible.
- All orders are placed with the same shipping method and delivery date.
- All orders are shipped to the same delivery address.
Please note that "Shipping & Handling" fees will still be charged separately for each order. Kindly ensure that you do not select "Pick-up" for one or more of the orders. If this happens, we will recalculate the shipping costs accordingly.
Is a delivery to a PO box possible?
Unfortunately, we cannot offer this option as it is not supported by our shipping providers.
Is a delivery to an UPS Access Point possible?
Yes, delivery to an UPS access point is possible.
To ensure a smooth delivery process, please make sure to enter the full and correct address of your preferred UPS Access Point, including the street name, number, postal code, and city. Please also enter your name in the fields "First Name" and "Last Name".
Shipping service providers
Which delivery service providers are used?
We ship worldwide with UPS as standard.
For shipments within the USA, we utilize both UPS and USPS.
Shipments to the UK are carried out with FedEx.
For large shipments, we also use a carrier of our choice.
Please understand that we always strive to choose the fastest and most cost-effective shipping option for you, which is why the shipping service provider cannot be selected.
Is it possible for me to organize the shipping of my order myself and not have RACE RESULT ship it?
Yes, this service is exclusively available for shipments from our headquarters in Germany. You can have the goods picked up by a shipping service provider, a courier, or a freight carrier of your choice.
We can also ship your order using your UPS / FedEx account. Please inform us of this when placing your order in our shop or beforehand when we create an offer for you.
If you are paying in advance, please wait with the payment until we have added the applicable handling fee to your order.
Pickup by a freight carrier:
Please note that for shipments requiring one or more pallets, a handling fee of 25 EUR / USD / AUD / GBP / CHF will be charged.
Pickup by a shipping service provider / courier:
If you provide us with your own shipping label, we will charge a handling fee of 10 EUR / USD / AUD / GBP / CHF.
In this case, you can use the daily pickup service from UPS, FedEx, and DHL at our facility without arranging an extra pickup. If you prefer to use a different shipping service provider or courier, please arrange the pickup yourself. Pickup times will be provided in the pickup confirmation.
In both cases, please select "Pickup" in the shop.
Please note that VAT will always be charged for pickups in Germany. If the goods are exported to a third country, the following rules apply: Subsequent Shipment Outside the EU
If you require additional export documents, please inform us in advance.
Also, please note that we can only provide the dimensions and weight after packaging. You will receive a pickup confirmation with this information once the goods are ready for collection. Please provide the service provider with your order number to ensure we hand over the correct goods. Additionally, let us know when and by whom the goods will be picked up.
Shipping via your own UPS / FedEx account:
Please note that a handling fee of 10 EUR / USD / AUD / GBP / CHF applies.
If you want to use this option, please select the corresponding shipping method with your preferred shipping date when placing your order. Be sure not to select “Pickup.”
Please provide your account number in the “Notes” field during the ordering process.
Keep in mind that we need to verify the use of your FedEx or UPS account first. If possible, we will manually adjust your order so that your account is used. Please do not complete the payment immediately. Once the adjustment has been made, you will receive an updated invoice.

Transfer of liability
We organize the delivery, but the liability is transferred to the buyer upon leaving our facilities. Of course, we will assist you should there be any issues.
Shipping Notifications
If you wish to receive updates on the progress of your shipment from our shipping service provider, please confirm during the order process in our shop that we are allowed to share your contact information.
This permission can be revoked with each new order, or the contact details can be modified individually for each order. This has the advantage for you that you will be directly informed about the delivery or any potential delays.
Where do I find the tracking number?
You will receive a tracking number via e-mail as soon as your order has been shipped. You can also find it in your account.
Return Equipment
Rental Equipment :: HQ Germany
When you return hardware to us in Pfinztal (Germany), please note the following:
- Return the equipment directly after the rental period ends.
- Always use a shipping provider such as UPS, FedEx or DHL. Do not use your local postal service.
- We recommend you insure the return shipping for the full replacement amount with your carrier.
Important for rentals returning from outside the EU:
- You must always include a low-value commercial invoice and declare the goods as returned goods. Otherwise, import costs will be charged to you. Add the order ID in the commercial invoice as a reference number.
- The original commercial invoice from when we shipped the goods to you should also be included (this can be requested from us). The declared value on the two commercial invoices must match.
- If the products contain batteries, please always use the boxes from us with the battery labels.
- Shipping incoterm: EXW

RMA & Upgrades :: HQ Germany
If you send hardware back to us in Pfinztal, whether for repair or upgrade, please note the following:
- Always use a shipping service provider like UPS, FedEx or DHL. Don't use your local post office.
- Outside the EU, a commercial invoice with a low value must always be included and the items must be declared as returned goods. Failing to do so, may result in import costs which we will pass on to you. Please note: It is only possible to declare the items as returned goods up to a maximum of 3 years after the purchase date!
- Always write the RMA order number on the box so that we can quickly and easily assign the shipment to your order.

Shipping Batteries
Lead batteries
Lead batteries, as used in the decoder 5000 / 5000s, can be shipped without special regulations.
Lithium-Ion and Lithium-Metal Batteries
There are special labeling requirements for the shipment of lithium-ion and lithium-metal batteries:
Lithium-Ion-Batteries (UN3481)
Lithium-ion cells and batteries shipped with or in a device must be labeled with the UN3481 sticker. This regulation applies to the following products:
- USB Timing Box
- Management Box
- Loop Box
- Track Boxes
- Ubidium
A maximum of twice the number of batteries that the device requires to operate may be sent outside the device. Ubidium can hold 2 batteries in the device, and 4 additional spare batteries may be sent in the same box.
Additionally, the shipping label must include the notation "PI967 Section II."
Lithium-Metal Batteries (UN3091)
Lithium-metal cells and batteries shipped with or in a device must be labeled with the UN3091 sticker. This regulation applies to the following products:
- Active Transponder
Additionally, the shipping label must include the notation "PI970 Section II."
General Information on Battery Shipping
- Packaging Requirements: Please ensure that the batteries are cushioned so that the package can withstand a fall from a height of 1 meter without damage.
- Defective Batteries: Defective batteries or loose batteries without a device must not be shipped. Please contact your local disposal service for proper disposal. Do not return defective devices with batteries or loose batteries to us.
- Safety Data Sheets: Safety data sheets can be downloaded from the following link. It is recommended to print the relevant safety data sheets and include them with the shipment to ensure that all relevant information about the batteries is available.
- Warning Stickers: You can download the warning stickers from the attached file.
Certificate of Origin & ATR
If you need a Certificare of Origin for your order we charge you 25 EUR / 25 USD.
For an attested Commercial invoice and Packing List the charge is 10 EUR / 10 USD.
In case you want a printed version which need to be sent by separate mail we will charge you extra for the shipping.
ATR is only needed for Turkey. We will charge 10 EUR.
Subsequent Shipment Outside the EU
You can place an order with delivery address EU or with collection at our side and let us know that you will export the goods within the next two weeks outside of the EU. Please inform us about the subsequent delivery address.
When ordering please choose delivery and not pick-up so that the VAT will be invoiced correctly. Kindly inform us when paying.
We will then let you have the export documents (customs declaration and commercial invoice).
A confirmation of export signed and stamped from the respective customs office which is responsible for the export outside of the EU is needed afterwards.
When receiving a proof of export (stamped document from the customs office) we will credit the paid VAT.
