As a manufacturer of electronic devices and print products, we rely on the use of different raw materials, as well as on suppliers from all over the world. We acknowledge these realities.
Sustainability is one of our core corporate values. We feel responsible for the environment, natural resources, and future generations.
We know many stakeholders in the sports industry want to reduce the ecological footprint of their events. We are happy to contribute to this goal as far as we can. We have taken concrete steps to reduce the environmental footprint of both our products and manufacturing processes.
We have calculated the carbon footprint across the entire supply and production chain. You can use these values to include them in the environmental balance of your sporting event. (Values for 2024)

Whitepaper: Carbon Footprint of Consumables at Sports Events
Contextualizing CO₂ drivers and material choices using race bibs and timing transponders as examples.
We use Tyvek® for our race bibs because it combines the properties needed for reliable performance on race day. It is flexible like paper, has a textile-like structure, and is waterproof, tearproof, lightweight, and 100% recyclable.
But what about alternative materials and their environmental impact? In this video, we explain why Tyvek® remains our preferred choice and how we balance sustainability with race day reliability.

As a distributor of electronic devices, we are required by EU law to take back and properly dispose of electronic equipment free of charge.
This also includes passive transponders, which contain an electronic chip and must be treated as e-waste. We also offer free disposal of race bibs together with their passive transponders.
If you would like to return any electronic equipment, transponders, or race bibs, please contact us in advance so we can arrange proper processing.
We gladly take back your old active transponders, free of charge. Because they are fully sealed to withstand water, dirt, and harsh race conditions, they require special handling at the end of their life and should not be disposed of with household or general electronic waste.
We pass returned transponders on to a certified waste management company that processes them professionally and in an environmentally responsible way. This keeps the devices and their built-in batteries out of unsuitable waste streams.
