Bib Size, Safety Margins, and Bleed

When designing your bibs, it is important to understand the sizing requirements for printing. Our Data Sheet has sizing information and templates for all our print products. This article has a more detailed breakdown of what all the various measurements mean.

  1. Location of the four standard punch holes for Tyvek Bibs
  2. This is the total size of the bib including the bleed area.
  3. This line represents the bleed margin. Everything outside of the bleed area will be cut from the design after the bibs are printed. This ensures a clean edge.
  4. This is the recommended safety margin. We recommend keeping all logos and text within this area. This is to ensure that these elements are not cut off or too close to the edge after the bleed is removed.
  5. Location of the punch holes for MTB Plates.
