RACE RESULT Aurora is a tool to help remotely monitor your RACE RESULT Systems which are connected online, and receive push notifications in the event of any errors. Within the app it is also possible to access your RACE RESULT 14 events, and monitor RACE RESULT Server Status updates.
RACE RESULT Aurora is available as a mobile app on both iOS and Androd devices through the respective app stores.
To get started with RACE RESULT Aurora login with your RACE RESULT Customer ID.
Events
Events shows a list of the online events that are in your account. Selecting an event will open that event in the device's default browser.
Device Data
Device Data will show a list of devices that are linked to your account and their current status, whether online or offline.

Selecting an individual timing system will show the current status of the device and any additional devices that are connected to it. From here it is also possible to set device alerts.

Device Alerts
Device alerts can be setup for your online RACE RESULT systems to receive push notifications when the status of the system meets the defined criteria.
When configured the RACE RESULT Aurora Server will constantly monitor the status of your system and if the rule definition is true will automatically send a push notification to your device.
Device alerts can be configured for RACE RESULT Decoders, Track Boxes and Loop Boxes (connected to an online decoder), and are assigned to your customer ID. Each device type comes with a specific subset of available rules which can be checked according to the device type.

You can choose which systems you want to receive push notifications for so you are only notified about systems which are applicable to you, by default when adding a rule for a new device ID you will automatically be subscribed to that system's notifications.
If you wish to stop checking a specific rule, you can disable the rule by toggling the switch, alternatively you can enable / disable all rules for a device, for example if the device has been switched off at the end of an event.

Individual rules can be edited by swiping from left to right, or deleted by swiping right to left.

To make it easier when creating multiple rule sets when accessing the rules for an individual device through the Device Data screen, you can choose to copy all rules from another Device ID.

Track Box Config

Aurora can be used to remotely configure Track Box Configuration Rules.
The input and commands use the same logic as the Online Portal Configuration.
Server Status
The Server Status page will provide the latest updates for any issues or updates which may impact RACE RESULT services. These statuses are run through an independent third-party platform and so can be accessed from the login screen at any time without logging in.

Statuses may be one of three categories, Normal, Warning or Error, indicated in green, orange or red accordingly. Updates that are older than a few months will not show a date stamp.
Additionally you can enable push notifications for Server Status updates through the settings menu. Push notifications will be sent for critical interuptions to services and may not be sent for all status updates.
Quick Login
Quick login allows you to login to RACE RESULT Aurora using your phone's security, with support for PIN, Biometric Authentication or Facial Recognition.
Quick login can be enabled through the settings menu and will require you to enter the password for your login to confirm.
Note that once enabled you will still need to enter your password at least once every 2 weeks, this is to ensure continued security of your data. You will be asked to login with your password from the main login screen when quick login has expired, logging in with your password will automatically renew quick login.
