• Charge to about 40-80% before storing (do not leave empty or fully charged)
• The battery can be stored at -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F). A temperature of 10 to 20°C (50 to 68°F) and a humidity of 40-60% are recommended.
• Maintain a charge level of aproxmatly 25% for long-term storage
• Deep discharging should be avoided in any case, as it can lead to permanent damage to the battery.
• Li-ion cells typically lose 5% capacity per year / 5% capacity every 100 cycles in general use.
• Maintaining Li-ion cells at 100% state of charge can cause 5–10% capacity loss.
• Shipping Li-ion batteries at <30% state of charge meets regulatory requirements and should always be followed.
