On race day, we highly recommend working offline. This means you check out your event (as described above, but this time do not make a copy). In case you are doing an on-site registration with several terminals, you can either set up a local network or you check out the event after the end of registration (please note that you need a stable internet connection to do so and the race must not have started).
Do not set up the hardware last minute. Make sure it is working as tested and all devices are connected properly.
