Comments on my.raceresult.com are now always on
Comments on participant pages on my.raceresult.com are now always active.
No extra work for you
You don’t need to check comments yourself, and you don’t need to pass this task on to the organizer. We make sure nothing inappropriate appears:
- AI check: Every comment is checked instantly and classified as allow, review or block. Blocked comments are not shown.
- Manual check: Our team reviews unclear comments manually.
Why we made this change
A race is more than a time on a results list. We want my.raceresult.com to make a sporting experience a human one too. Runners should be able to:
- talk with other participants,
- hold up a virtual cheering sign online, just like at the side of the course,
- see which of their friends are racing too.
More interaction also makes your event more visible and can bring in extra registrations.
Optional, if you want more control
- Minimum age: In my.raceresult.com > Activate my.raceresult.com, the Comment Settings let you set a minimum age from 0 to 21. Participants below that age get no comment field, and any comments already left for them are hidden. The default is 0, which means no limit.
- Handle Comments: In my.raceresult.com > Handle Comments you can see every comment, override its classification and delete comments. You can also grant access to this page on its own, for example to a community manager.
Our recommendation: one Participant View, linked early
- Use only one Participant View per event or contest if possible. The Participant View is made to be shared with participants, friends and fans. If there are several per athlete (for example one for Live and one for Results), viewers may end up on the wrong one.
- Link it in your participants list. If no Participant View is linked there, a placeholder view appears instead. It suggests more information will follow, but it stays empty. Link your Participant View before race day, so spectators already see which information, results and content will be available, and can start cheering right away.
