Our portfolio covers a broad variety of sports like Marathon, Duathlon, Aquathlon, Gigathlon, 24h bike races, mountain climbs, Motocross, MudRaces, Obstacle Runs and many, many other kinds of sports events. You can easily time your event with a RACE RESULT solution. For timing we differentiate between our active system for sport like cycling, inline-skating, (elite) triathlon, motorsports, skiing or mud races and our passive system for mass events at lower speeds like running, Mountain Bike and (low profile) triahtlons.

In general, chip timing consists of three pillars:

• Software: our software RACE RESULT 12 is one of the most, if not the most, flexible timing software. In RACE RESULT 12 you can easily manage the event and registered athletes. Create different lists, certificates, statistics and much more to score your event. Once you learned to work with RACE RESULT 12, you don't want to miss it on any event.
• Hardware: Timing your event will be a great success with your RACE RESULT system. The RACE RESULT series 5000 decoder is our core product. You can use it for both active and passive solution. When using the active system, you can also use our USB Timing Box instead. You can rent the hardware from RACE RESULT in Europe, the US and Australia for your events.
• Transponder: To identify the athletes, everyone needs to carry a transponder. With the passive system, you can use either disposable or reusable transponders. We recommend using bib transponders. In our web shop, you can order chip race numbers, where the transponders are already attached to the bib. As an alternative, you can also order disposable shoe transponders. Our reusable transponders are usually worn with a Velcro Strap around the ankle. Reusable passive transponders cannot be rented, other than the active transponders. They are always reusable and are worn at the ankle as well or mounted to the bike/car. To achieve the best detection rates with the passive solution, we highly recommend a redundancy using either two transponders with one timing line or two timing lines with one transponder.

You can rent the necessary hardware from us and buy the passive transponders / rent the active transponders. In addition to the basic gear, we further offer the following:

• Run an online registration with online payment on my.raceresult.com and publish results in real time
• Buy additional event related gear (bibs, safety pins, duct tape)
• Rent further event related material like our LED clock or Active Loop Box to collect split times wirelessly with the active system.
