RACE RESULT's technology is perfectly tailored for ski mountaineering races, offering a seamless experience for both participants and organizers. Our active solution makes splits and checkpoints easy to set up, even in remote and challenging terrains. This ensures that spectators and event organizers receive real-time data from every corner of the route, enhancing the overall race experience and safety.
Participants wear an Active V3 Transponder on their wrist or ankle.
At the start/finish line, a loop cable is taped to the ground and connected to the Ubidium timing system. When participants cross the starting line, the time is recorded, and the tracking mode on the transponders is activated.
At intermediate checkpoints, a Track Box Active is set up. The Track Box Active is a lightweight device for transponder detection, weighing only 400 grams. It can be easily carried up the mountain by volunteers and has an internal battery that lasts for several days. The Track Box Active automatically detects all Active transponders within a radius of 50 meters and transmits this data in real-time via the mobile network to the timing software.
Installing multiple Track Boxes provides viewers and organizers with more accurate live updates. It also allows for tracking visualizations on maps.
Ubidium
The cutting-edge timing system designed for superior performance and versatility. Boasts exceptional weatherproofing, lightweight design, and up to 32 hours battery life. Data is transmitted in real-time through multiple options, including SIM, Ethernet, POE, or USB-C connections.
Track Box Active
Provide tracking and timing with the same active transponder. Track Boxes placed along the course or on race vehicles receive pings from all tracking-enabled transponders within a 50 m radius and transmit the data live online.
ActivePro V3 Transponder
The most accurate active transponder on the market. It combines a true accuracy of 0.004 s with 5 years battery life, 120 km/h max speed and the unique features "store mode" and "tracking mode". The design is 100% waterproof. No follow-up costs such as subscription or activation fees.
Velcro Strap
Used to attach the transponder to the ankle. Resuable and machine washable.
