The active solution is perfect for MotoCross. Thanks to the detection at a height of up to 2.5 m, the ActivePro V3 Transponder is ideally suited, even with a deeply buried loop. The Active Loop Box can also be used to easily determine sector times, for example if you have sections that are more focused on bike handling and speed.

The race is part of the FIM Hard Enduro World Championship and is considered the toughest Enduro race in the Balkans. The main event spans three days and involves off-road rally-style racing through challenging terrain.
The timing was managed by the organizer themselves. An active system was set up at the start/ finish line, active transponders were mounted on the front fork of the motorcycles. Loop Boxes were used to collect data from the service zone.
For checkpoints, the Track Box Active was used. This device can easily be set up in remote and difficult-to-reach locations and does not need to be looked after by helpers.
Using the RACE RESULT 12 software, live result boards were generated. In the service zone, each rider received their individual countdown to continue racing on a tablet, also generated by RACE RESULT 12 software.
We recommend burying the loop in conduit under the track. This protects the loop should the ruts on the course get deeper. Make sure that the loop is not laid out immediately after a jump, as heights of over 2.5 m can here be reached quickly, which means that the transponders could no longer be detected.
The best way for drivers to attach the ActivePro V3 transponder to the front fork is to use the Active Chip Holder. However, make sure to leave as much distance as possible to other electronics.
