The system can be used by professional timing companies
as well as by race directors and organizers of smaller events. Especially smaller organizers
rent the system over the weekend: this way, they can use professional equipment at affordable prices. It can be shipped easily.
Can the system be used for net timing?
Yes. Because of the large width of the mat the system is
suitable for net timing. The race result system detects the runners'
start and end times and thus measures the values needed to calculate each participant's net time.
How do I set up the system?
The set-up of the system is very simple: unfold the cable
bridge with the integrated antenna, connect it to the decoder and press the ON-Button. After the start up of the system it is ready
for use. You do not need prior experience to use the system. A short manual describes important aspects to
consider.
Can I test the system?
Yes, as long as we have rental systems available, we
can provide a system and 15 bibs for one day. You can order this test package in our Shop.
What do I have to do if I want to use the
system?
If you would like to rent a system for 24 months, please
contact us directly. In order to reserve a system for a weekend, please
reserve it in our Shop. We will then check whether a system is available on the given weekend and contact you with further instructions.
Is the race result system an active or passive system?
The race result system is a passive UHF-system. I.e. the transponder does not have its own source of energy, but instead draws its energy from the electro-magnetic field.
