The cable bridge with integrated antenna consists of four
segments of 1 meter width each. It can be folded and shipped easily via
regular mail.
The bridge can be built up as a 4m system or as a 2m system with backup.
For a reliable detection it is recommend to use one redundancy: either you
use the duo bibs with two transponders or in case of the single bibs with
one transponder the runner passes the 2m cable bridge and its backup.
Decoder
The decoder receives the signals from the transponders and provides this
information to race result 11. The electronics are housed in a weather-proof
case and can run on batteries for two hours. Via a large display and a few
buttons the system can be started, configured and supervised.
The system can be readout via the serial or ethernet interface.
Professional users will appreciate the possibilities to plug in an external
battery or an external loudspeaker. They can also synchronize several systems
via the GPS signal and upload passings via the integrated GPRS modem to
the Internet.
